Attersee sings his song composed for the Galerie Grünangergasse 12 (text by Attersee and Kalb) to accompany a German TV report on the founding of the gallery, after a concept by Attersee.

“Uganda tomorrow”, feature film project: around a hundred Austrian artists want to fly to Africa and work there in art. Attersee, Kalb and Hans Neuffer, the film makers Rosemarie and Christoph Stenzel fly to Uganda to choose the locations for the planned cinema film. Attersee makes his film “Ugandareise” (Uganda Journey) (silent film, one hour long, 9.5 mm, with a background of African pop music of the 1960s and Attersee compositions). The political situation alters at the end of the year (planned start) and leads to the project being shelved.
During the years 1965 to 1973, it is interesting to note that Attersee creates a number of travel films (all silent films, colour, 9.5 mm), among them a Crete film and one about the island Lanzerote.
The following object actions conceived by Attersee for the Austrian TV film “Countdown” are recorded: “Brennende Büstenhalter” (Burning Brassiere), “Verzehren einer Suppe mit von Attersee gestaltetem Suppenschmuck” (Consuming a Soup with Soup Decoration by Attersee), performance of Attersee’s “Zierbuckeln” (Decorative Bending) and the re-colouring of red gladioli to white with cold fire.
“Gruss Attersee” (Greet Attersee), colour feature film with and on the work of the painter Attersee, by Rosemarie and Christoph Stenzel with the collaboration of Attersee. Comprehensive report on Attersee’s pictures, books, inventions, objects and actions, incorporated into the plot of a “Heimatfilm” (nostalgic genre of film with a regional background). Film music by Attersee (“Atterseelied” and “Atterseewaltz”).
Takes part in the actions concert for Al Hansen (by Otto Muehl with Attersee, Dieter Haupt, Kurt Kalb, Kurt Kren, Hermann Nitsch, Rudolf Schwarzkogler, Dominik Steiger, Peter Weibel and Oswald Wiener) in the Galerie nächst St. Stephan. Attersee projects his “Gartenfilm“ (Garden Film) (silent film, one hour long, colour, 8 mm).
Attersee produces the silent films (each 5 minutes, black-and-white, 8 mm) “Die seltsame Gräfin” (The Strange Countess) (1964) and “Hennoch der Eingeweihte” (Hennoch the Initiate) (1965)
